Police arrest 4 suspects in connection with Junior US' death

- Police in Philadelphia has arrested four suspects in connection with the murder of Junior US

- Junior US who is Shatta Wale's was murdered on April 9, 2019

- He was laid to rest on June 1, 2019, in his hometown Krofrom

Four suspects have been arrested in connection with the murder of Shatta Wale's friend, Nana Yaw Opoku, popularly known as Junior US.

In a report sighted by YEN.com.gh on Fox29.com, the South West Philadelphia Police Department released photos of the four suspects with respect to Junior US' murder.

Those arrested were a teen Christina Zogar of Southwest Philadelphia, 20-year-old Tejan Sherif of Collingdale, 21-year-old Abdoulaye Doucoure of Old City, and 22-year-old Alfred Bargor of Center City.

Police say Zogar was arrested on May 22, Sherif on June 18, Doucoure on June 27 and Bargor on July 22. All were charged with murder, robbery, criminal conspiracy and related offenses.

Per the police's statement, on April 9, 2019, just after 11 pm, two unknown men entered Junior US' apartment on the 7700 block of Lindbergh Boulevard.

Police say the men shot, Junior US, and fled -the Ghanaian died at the scene.

Three women were with Opoku at the time of the shooting and fled the scene with the male suspects in a gray Chevy Malibu, according to police.

Junior US was laid to rest on June 1, 2019 in his hometown, Krofrom, in the Ashanti Region.

Many Ghanaian celebrities who claimed Junior was their friend and brother when he was alive, didn’t attend his funeral though many family and friends expected to see them around.
