- Ghanaian actress, Nana Ama McBrown, has provided a football coach, James Eduful, with a wheelchair, after he lost his ability to walk in an accident

- Eduful, also known as Coach Sympathy, became a cripple after he fell off his mother's back during a rainy night while they journeyed home

Popular Ghanaian actress, Nana Ama McBrown, has silently jumped to the aid of a football coach, James Eduful, who lost his ability to walk at the age 9 .

YEN.com.gh understands that the celebrated screen personality provided him with a wheelchair when she learnt of his plight during his Senior High School days.

Eduful, popularly known as Coach Sympathy, lost his ability to walk after he fell off his mother’s back as they headed home during a rainy night.

All efforts, including the use of traditional medicine to get him healed, failed and he therefore remained a cripple till date.

Per a citinewsroom.com report, Eduful’s mother lost her life two years after the accident, when she gave birth to his sister.

His aunt took care of him as well as his sister, but it was not all rosy, as she also had children of her own and there was a constant fight for survival.

The challenges however did little to crush his dream to become a football coach and in the year 2007, Eduful set up a colts team at the Tafo area in Kumasi.

His team often bend the rules of the game to accommodate him as he uses more of his hands than legs when on the field.

On each day he has to meet with his team to train, Eduful navigates through dangerous traffic situations.

This, he reveals, is because some of the drivers are careless, but his love for what he does fuels his desire to go the extra mile.

Eduful explains that his mentor is Pep Guardiola, because the football icon redefined the way the game is played with his tiki-taka revolution at Spanish club, Barcelona.

In other news, renowned legal practitioner Ace Anan Ankomah has dragged social commentator, Kevin Ekow Baidoo Taylor to court, accusing him of defamation.
