African brand goes global; partners with top Swedish retail giant(Photos)
- H&M, a Swedish retail giant, has partnered with Mantsho, a South African fashion business enterprise.
- Mantso is the first African business partner of H&M; some of its other partners are French luxury fashion house, Balmain, and Italian designer, Moschino.
- Mantso, which means "Black Is Beautiful," has been involved in fashion events all over the world.
A rising South African fashion brand, Mantsho, has teamed up with Swedish retail giants, H&M, to do business with them, YEN.com.gh understands.
Information available suggests that this is the first time H&M has partnered with an African designer.
The Mantso label, created by South Africa-based designer, Palesa Mokubung, has been present on numerous runaways all over the world.

Countries in which it has established its presence include the United States of America, Greece and India.
Per a report by edition.cnn.com, Mantso in the Sesotho language means "Black is beautiful."

Mokubung hopes that the partnership would spark a delight in shopping for her unique pieces by clients all over the world.
H&M, has in the past, conducted business with French luxury fashion house, Balmain, and Italian designer, Moschino.

In other news, a 15-year-old Junior High School student, Norsi Mawunyefia, has built a makeshift ferry.
Mawunyefia is a student of the Nkwakubew Presby School and was encouraged by his teacher, Gilbert Kpodo to build the vessel.

The vessel has meanwhile been successfully tested on the Volta lake and Mawunyefia has indicated that he could do more but for some challenges his school faces at the moment.
