Eurostar Global Limousines CEO invited by police over UniBank debt

Chief Executive Officer of popular car rental company, Eurostar Global Limousines has been invited by the police to help with investigations into threats to the life of Nii Amanor Dodoo, the receiver in the case of five banks that were collapsed 2018.

According to the police, Oscar Yao Doe sent threat messages to the Receiver, Nii Amanor Dodoo when he was remaindered of defaulting in settling his indebtedness to Unibank.

The Eurostar CEO is indebted to the sum of GHS101,960.

The police invite states that Oscar should report to the Ghana Police’s Special Investigations Team.

The Special Investigations Team was commissioned by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to look into the collapse of the nine indigenous banks.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that National Democratic Congress (NDC) candidate for the Ningo-Prampram constituency in the 2020 parliamentary elections, Sam Dzata George says Ghanaians are fed up with the daily corruption and fraud being perpetrated under the NPP government.

He also opined that the NPP government is the most incompetent the country has seen since independence.
