Mike Ezuruonye undergoes successful eye surgery; experiences 8-hour blindness

- The movie star had to undergo an eye surgery due to over-exposure to light in all his years of working
- Ezuruonye noted that he is now recuperating and would be back to making movies very soon
Popular Nigerian movie star Mike Ezuruonye has revealed his ordeal with his sight which prompted immediate surgery.
Describing it as a "scary experience", Ezuronye said he had to take that step to prevent his eyes from getting permanently damaged.
He has been affected by what he referred to as "harsh production light" during his movie shoots.

He took to his social media pages to inform his fans about his ordeal, and how he experienced total blackness when his eyes had to be shut for 8 hours.
After the surgery was over, Ezuronye said he has come to appreciate the sight God gave him and would never take it for granted.
The actor also indicated that he is getting better and hopes to be on the screens soon.

His post has triggered many reactions from his people in Nigeria with many wishing him well and praying for him.
