Highlife musician Okuraseni Samuel says Kofi B must be honoured with a state burial
Ghanaian highlife musician, Okuraseni Samuel has called on the government to give Kofi B a state burial

According to Okuraseni Samuel, Kofi B was a celebrated musician who did great things with his music and therefore deserves a state burial.
In an interview on Koo TV, Okuraseni Samuel stated that Kofi B elevated Ghanaian highlife music with his great songwriting and singing skills.

Comparing Kofi B death to that Ebony Reigns, he said, “If Ebony who had a short music life span had a state burial, then I think the late Kofi B also should also have a suitable state burial.”
“If a Member of Parliament even dies after one year in power, he is given a state burial so why shouldn’t Kofi B who brought to light highlife music also be given a state burial?" the ‘Ye wo homework’ hitmaker quizzed.

He also added that since Kofi B has been in the industry for some time now and has played a very key role in sustaining the Highlife genre in Ghana, he (Kofi B) is a music legend who must be celebrated.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that On Saturday, February 2, 2020, Kofi B was said to have traveled to Abaase Domenase in Central Region with Kofi Nti to perform at the birthday party of a chief.
The sad incident occurred after a performance on the following day.
But according to a source on social media, Kofi B was expected to have returned home on Sunday, February 3 in time for his daughter's birthday before meeting his untimely death.

The Facebook user who goes by the name 'Nene Kabutey Dosoo' wrote “Kofi B died on his daughter’s birthday. How is this girl going to celebrate future birthdays”.
It will be a sad memory for his daughter because she will remember her father's death each year on her birthday.
