Football is known as the most followed and watched sporting activity on earth considering the joy it gives many viewers in many parts of the world.
There are many people who prefer watching football based on the players they like seeing, while some will always stay connected to the round leather game because of some players.
A player like Cristiano Ronaldo has been able to woo many football followers, lovers and pundits to be following all Juventus matches just because they will have the chance to see the Portugal international.

Even legendary goalkeeper Buffon recently made it clear that Cristiano Ronaldo was one of the reasons that made him return to Juventus.
It also applies to the Spanish La Liga where many cannot do without watching Barcelona games because of Argentine football star Lionel Messi.
However, there are other sporting events that people also follow in many parts of the world as the likes of Tennis, Badminton, Boxing, Wrestling, Judo, Motor Sports and so on also have their fans.
In Nigeria for example, there are many fans who follow boxing just because of the likes of Floyd Mayweather, Tyson Fury, Mike Tyson and Anthony Joshua.

Anthony Joshua particularly has lured many Nigerians to start following the game of boxing since he became world champion where he defeated Andy Ruiz twice.
But talking about the game of wrestling, it has limited followers in Nigeria for now as it cannot be compared to that of football and boxing.
Years back, Nigerians used to watch wrestling very well most especially during the time the likes of Undertaker, Ultimate Warrior, John Cena, Chris Jericho, and Hulk Hogan.
