For you to complete all the functions mentioned above, you need to register for your student portal. This is particularly important for new students. Below is the process of signing up for the KTU students portal:

  1. Go to sip.ktu.edu.gh
  2. Once there, you are required to enter your full index numbers as the username.
  3. Then enter the default password sip4kdpoly. It should be noted that all the letters should be in small letters or lowercase.
  4. You should then change the default password after logging into the system for the first time.
  5. Re-enter your index number and the new password

  1. Go to sip.ktu.edu.gh
  2. Enter your username
  3. Enter your password, and click login

How to reset the KTU students portal password

Most of the time, we are hellbent on making our passwords so complicated that we may forget them ourselves. This should not worry you as the developers of the student portal put this into consideration. If you have forgotten your password, this is what to do:

  1. Go to sip.ktu.edu.gh
  2. Secondly, click the forgot your password link.
  3. Type your email address in the new page that comes and wait for your new password to be sent to your email address. You should, therefore, make sure you enter your valid email address.
  4. Once you get the new email, go back and log in to your portal.
