The Adonko Bitters owner further disclosed that the amount he pays as salaries to these 5000 workers is around one million Ghanaian cedis.

He said:

At least, there are about five thousand people that I pay. Even though it is difficult sometimes, but I always sail through. It is no easy because it is not a small amount. It is about one million Ghana cedis but with God's help, we are able to pay.

He added:

There are times it gets tougher making payments. But just when you least expect, God shows a way and debtors come out of the to pay and that’s how we have been managing until now. Sometimes it delays – that’s normal; but at the end of the day everyone gets paid.

Apart from the one million cedis he pays to the 5000 employees, Dr Oteng also listed other expenses he has on people who are not directly employed by his companies but work with him.
