Popular Kumawood actor Mr. Beautiful has claimed that former president John Mahama of the NDC has been supporting actress Maame Dokono.
He said Maame Dokono, known in real life as Grace Omaboe, is one of the beneficiaries of Mahama’s support for the aged and veteran actresses.
For his kind gesture even to those who belong to other political parties, Mr. Beatiful believes Mahama is kind and compassionate, and therefore, needs to be given the nod to lead Ghana again.
This is contained in a report sighted by YEN.com.gh on graphic.com.gh.
He was reportedly speaking in an interview with Graphic Showbiz.
Mr. Beautiful, known in private life as Clement Bonney, was making a case for Mahama giving some reasons why Ghanaians must vote for him in the 2020 elections.
One of the reasons, he cited is that though Mahama lost the 2016 elections, he was still upholding his earlier pledge to support the aged in the entertainment industry of which Maame Dokono was part.
Mr. Beautiful mentioned others including CK Mann, Super OD, Ewurama Badu, Bob Okala, Ataa Mensah, Paa George and Obuoba J.A Adofo and Maame Dokono.
He revealed that they get Mahama’s support every three months.
He claimed that, even though Mr John Dramani Mahama lost the 2016 elections, he was still upholding his pledge of supporting the aged in the industry.
"You can find out from her (Maame Dokono). Mahama made donations to her just last week. I'm not just talking but providing evidence as well,” Mr. Beautiful stressed.
The majority, if not all Ghanaians know how Maame Dokono turned her back on the NDC which made her popular, to join the NPP.
She called the NDC names during the time she defected to the NPP.
But it appears the NPP has since turned her back on her only for Mahama to support her.
