CK Akonnor: Black Stars coach names all-time best 11
Black Stars of Ghana coach Charles Kwablah Akonnor has defied all odds by naming his all-time best eleven players.

Akonnor has named his best team to have featured for the senior national football team.
Some of the players to have made the list were his teammates and some current crop of players to have played in the last decade.

In an interview on Starr FM the former Wolfsburg captain named goalkeeper Richard Kingston as his number one to keep the post.
Frank Amankwah, Isaac Asare, Samuel Osei Kuffuor, and Isaac Asare made it into the squad as his best defenders for the Black Stars.
In midfield, Akonnor named Robert Eshun, Michael Essien, Stephen Appiah, and three-time African best footballer Abedi Pele.

Ghana’s all-time leading scorer Asamoah Gyan and the legendary Tony Yeboah completed the list for CK Akonnor’s best eleven squad.
The Black Stars coach per his squad will opt for the 4-3-3 formation.
Akonnor rose to through the ranks in the national team.
He succeeded Abedi Pele Ayew as Black Stars captain.

Meanwhile, Adama Traore was seen having his arms rubbed in baby oil during Wolves’s Europa League encounter with Olympiakos in a bid to prevent defenders from having a grip while attempting to grab him.
The idea came as a measure to help the pacey winger who has been targeted by desperate opposing defenders.
Traore who has been impressive for Wolves has attracted interests from several European clubs including Manchester United and Serie A champions.
