Gospel singer, Joe Mettle, has spoken after his successful marriage ceremony with his fiancée, Salomey Selassie Dzisa.

Mettle and Selassie got married in a beautiful traditional wedding ceremony, popularly known as engagement in Ghana, on Thursday, August 13, 2020.

Following the traditional ceremony, the gospel minister has taken to social media to share a photo with his wife.

The photo is from the traditional wedding and shows them loved-up and smiling at each other while Selassie holds him by the cheek area.

Sharing the photo, Mettle attributed the success of their marriage ceremony to the Almighty saying "God did it". He also expressed his appreciation for all the support given to him and his wife by those who celebrated with them.

Joe Mettle's post read:

"God did it. We want to say thank you to everyone who came to celebrate with us and even the ones who couldn’t make it but still celebrated with us God bless you."

The news of Joe Mettle’s wedding broke last week after his wedding invitation was released on Thursday, August 6, 2020. As reported, the white wedding is expected to be held at the Christian Centre Assemblies of God Church located at Community 17 in Tema. Per the information on the invitation card spotted by YEN.com.gh, the ceremony will start from 11:30 am.

Before the wedding invitation, there was a widespread rumour that Berla Mundi was dating Mettle and the two were preparing to get married. Mettle, however, was quick to dismiss the rumour but never mentioned the name of the woman he was seeing and getting ready to marry.

Until the wedding invitation came out, no one knew, except perhaps the families of the couple who were aware Mettle was dating Selassie.

Meanwhile, videos from the bridal shower of Salomey Selassie Dzisa have popped up showing her partying with family and friends. Earlier, a pre-wedding photo of the couple was also published by YEN.com.gh that showed how the two look good and are a perfect match for each other.

Many people have wished them well as Ghanaians prepare to share in the musician’s big day.
