Sarkodie sets record as massive traffic from his Black Love concert crashes hosting website (photo)

- Expectant fans who wanted to join Sarkodie's virtual concert had to wait for long hours to connect

- The hiccup was caused by the massive traffic the hosting website was receiving from subscribers

Sarkodie’s much-anticipated Black Love Virtual Concert slated for tonight, August 16, 2020, is attracting massive viewership all over the world.

However, the traffic from many expectant viewers of the virtual show has caused the website to sort of go down over bandwidth issues.

The official streaming website for the show, CEEK, have however released a statement following the hiccup and has assured fans that normalcy would soon be restored.

The hosting website took to Twitter to post:

“Due to massive traffic we are aware some people are not able to connect. Standby the show will begin shortly.”

A photo of traffic sources for the Concert has shown that Ghana is in the lead. The tweet to this effect read:

“#SarkNation shut the web down. Due to overwhelming traffic we are having some technical issues. Please standby we are working to resolve this. 1.5 million at once with more coming.”

Sarkodie’s Black Love concert has been hyped for a long time and has a number of top Ghanaian stars making appearances.

Prior to the big day, it was reported that dancehall star Stonebwoy, was engaged in some sort of fracas with Sarkodie’s manager, Angeltown.

Stonebwoy, however, following the incident, rendered an official self-recorded apology to Angeltown and Sarkodie.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Ghanaian actress and TV personality Nana Ama McBrown turned a year older on August 15, 2020.

The popular actress celebrated her birthday by remembering her mentors in the movie industry, veteran actresses Grace Nortey and Grace Omaboe. .

In a video sited by YEN.com.gh, the UTV showbiz host visited the two veteran actresses in their respective homes.

She showed them love by presenting several gift items to them including a fridge, television set, bottles of water, drinks, toiletries among others.
