Ghanaian rapper, D-Black, known in private life as Desmond Blackmore, has spoken on a bedroom video of his which recently leaked on social media.
In an interview with Okay FM monitored by YEN.com.gh, D-Black confessed that he was not proud of the leaked video.
D-Black trended on social media for close to four days starting from Thursday, September 17, 2020.
The trend was as a result of a bedroom video of the CEO of Black Avenue Muzik (BAM) that had leaked online.
As previously reported by YEN.com.gh, the video of saw D-Black and a lady in adult play in bed popped up on social media.
In the video, D-Black went down on the lady and was heard telling her he wanted to eat sushi after she asked him the food he was going to eat.
While D-Black's face showed in the video showed clearly, that of the lady did not appear clearly and her identity was not known until she released a statement on the leak.
Throughout the back and forth on social media, D-Black refused to make any comment on the viral video.
But appearing on Okay FM of Friday, October 2, 2020, D-Black denied suggestions on social media that he released the video to ride on the trend to release his Falaa music video.
He admitted that the video was an unfortunate incident which he is not proud of and does not want to talk about.
“It’s just unfortunate…I’ve always said this… I’ve been without controversy my whole career. It was an unfortunate incident. This is not characteristic of my brand and I just had to deal with it. These are things you don’t have to speak about, it’s private, it’s personal”, he said.
The rapper who sounded emotional about the matter also lamented how Ghanaians project negativity over positive news.
The leaked video was the second time D-Black received such negative attention on social media within the last three weeks.
It will be recalled the BAM CEO was one of the many prominent Ghanaians who received awards from Kwame Owusu Fordjour, now known as Dr UN, on August 29.
