A recent study conducted by Star Ghana Foundation has revealed Indomie, mobile money, and social media addiction have been the causes of teenage pregnancies in Ghana.
According to a report sighed by YEN.com.gh on Starrfmonline, the increased rate of teenage pregnancy in the country is a result of the love and desperation for the aforementioned.
According to the research, teenaged girls get into bed with men so they can be able to have access to their phones to take pictures and post on social media.

They also easily give out their bodies if a man would be able to buy them indomie at night and send them mobile money no matter the amount.
The research findings were shared at a National Dialogue on sexual and Gender-based violence in a COVID-19 pandemic which was held in Tamale.
The Star Ghana Foundation-Songtaba collaboration on the research, sought to identify, share and suggest solutions to the continuous vulnerability of women in the country.
Speakers also lamented the negative impact of COVID-19 on young girls and women in the last six months.
The impact they noted was devastating as several young girls especially teenagers got pregnant during the period.
Key speaker and consultant to Star Ghana Foundation, Bashiratu Jamal concluded that teenage pregnancy is on an increase despite several efforts by NGOs to curb the canker.
YEN.com.gh earlier reported that award-winning Ghanaian comedian, Derrick Kobina Bonney known by the stage name DKB has suggested that only science students must pursue nursing courses.
The comedian, in a video sighted by YEN.com.gh, was speaking following the death of a friend's relative after a nurse reportedly misdiagnosed or misappropriated drugs to the patient.
A rather livid DKB said he was at a loss as to why the nursing regulatory bodies were not ensuring that only students with science backgrounds from at least the SHS level were the ones pursing the programme.
