Reactions as man says girlfriend broke up with him because of GHC150

- A Nigerian man has recounted how his girlfriend broke up with him because he didn't send her N10k (GHC150) for new year celebration

- According to the young man with the Twitter handle @OluwaStunna_YSL, he was going to propose to the lady before she left him

- Nigerians on social media took to the comment section of his post to share their thoughts

A Nigerian man with the Twitter handle @OluwaStunna_YSL has taken to the social media platform to announce that his girlfriend whom he wanted to propose to in 2021 broke up with him because of N10,000.

The young man said the lady asked for the money for the new year celebration but he refused to send it to her.

In his words:

"My girlfriend I wanna propose to this year just broke up with me cos she asked me for #10k for her to flex on January 1st and I didn't send her. Wow! Seriously just wow!!"

This has got Nigerians talking on the social media platform, and while some lambasted the young man for his inability to send his N10,000 to his girlfriend, others slammed the lady for being materialistic.

A young Hausa lady identified as Salmerh Umar has taken her search for a husband to social media as she urged Nigerians on Twitter to pray for her.

The young lady with Twitter handle @SalmerhUmar said she cannot hide her feelings anymore.

Salmerh, who is from Gombe state, shared two pictures of herself on the microblogging site to let people know how beautiful she is.
