President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on Sunday, January 31, 2021, addressed the nation once again on COVID-19 measures put in place.

In the address which happened to be the 23rd since the first one in March 2020, the president made some interesting announcement.

Unfortunately, most people are not adhering to the safety protocols put in place to ensure their own safety and curtail the spread of the deadly coronavirus.

In a bid to ensure things do not get out of hand, Akufo-Addo had to go back to certain decisions he made earlier.

In case you missed the whole address, YEN.com.gh has listed some key takeaways from the president's 23rd address to the nation.

1. Death toll

Akufo-Addo announced that as at Friday, January 29, 2021, 64 more people have died.

In other news, Founder and leader of the Action Chapel International, Archbishop Nicholas Duncan-Williams, was spotted wearing two masks at the same time.

This action of his drew a lot of attention as people question why a man of faith like him will do that.

The much revered man of God finally explained why he wore double facemasks at the funeral of former President Jerry John Rawlings.
