Doyen Ghanaian gospel singer, Yaw Sarpong, has donated food items to the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital accident ward as he marks his birthday today, February 4.

The ace gospel singer, who is famed as a member of the Asomafo (messengers) gospel group, is celebrating his new age in a benevolent manner.

To climax his special day, the renowned singer and his team visited the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital accident ward to donate useful items including drinks, water, toiletries, and other health supplies.

Heartwarming video clips and frames emerging from their charity show Yaw Sarpong personally handing over items to authorities of the hospital.

In an emotional video online, an accident patient joins the veteran gospel singer and a colleague, Maame Tiwaa, to sing his popular tune Wo hao ni sen after Yaw Sarpong donated the food items to the facility to climax his birthday celebration.

In similar news, Ghanaian actor, John Setor Dumelo, celebrated his 37th birthday on February 3, 2021 with a similar gesture of giving back to society.

His day was marked with special blessing and prayers from his colleagues and friends as well as from his pretty wife.

To mark his special day, he decided to celebrate it all the way in his hometown, Likpe Bala in the Volta Region of Ghana.

This time around, he decided to bless the people in his community instead of the usual acts of kindness he does in the Ayawaso West Wuogon constituency.
