It has been a little over one month since the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science Technology (KNUST) reopened with freshmen starting school, and we already have a heartbreak story.
One of the freshmen on the KNUST campus has had his heart broken by a lady who has been only identified as Bridget.
In videos that have been circulating on social media, the young man is seen lying on his bed and weeping over the heartbreak.
Some of his colleagues at the Unity (Continental) Hall are seen hovering around him. While some consoled him, others made fun of him.
Not long after, a whole group of students at the Conti Hall came together in a procession while dancing to a 'jama' (song) composed with the girl's name.
Details as to why Bridget left the young man brokenhearted are not yet available to YEN.com.gh, but the videos have been gaining prominence on social media. Currently, Bridget is one of the most popular subjects on Ghanaian Twitter.
The Bridget broken heart story comes almost one year after that of Sammy and Nana Ama, both students of KNUST, went viral.
As reported by YEN.com.gh at the time, a video of Sammy weeping after suffering a broken heart over a breakup with his girlfriend popped up.
Talk on social media indicates that Nana Ama left Sammy after she caught him cheating and he lied big time.
In audio heard by YEN.com.gh, Sammy could be heard desperately begging Nana Ama to forgive him and come back.
There was also a video of Sammy crying while lying on his bed with his friends consoling him.
And he even threw his phone away.
This led to his friends teasing him to the point of even organising a funeral for him over his loss.
