Famous Ghanaians have joined the social media chorus mourning the unexpected demise of celebrated Ghanaian photographer, Emmanuel Bobbie, well known as Bob Pixel.

Affectionately called Bob, the popular photographer reportedly died on Thursday, February 25, leaving behind three children and a wife.

The late Emmanuel Bobbie died after he succumbed to a short sickness.

Before his demise, Bobbie had established his brand Bob Pixel in Ghana's photography arena, becoming one of the favourites of prominent personalities and celebrities as he was booked to capture photos at A-list events.

His career and works influenced the careers of emerging talents in the photography industry as he inspired many to pursue photography as a career.

Bobbie's works cover several iconic pictures in and outside Ghana, including immortalising scenes from tourist sites and monumental edifices.

The popular photographer worked with several famous personalities, including actress Yvonne Nelson, rapper M.anifest, actor-turned-politician John Dumelo, Sulley Muntari's wife Menaye Donkor, actress Jackie Appiah, James Gardiner, Joe Mettle, and many others.

Actor-turned-politician, John Dumelo writes, ''Bob Pixel.....we never had the chance to go on our road trip together with our drones and cameras. Rest Well dear friend. Till we meet again. Folded hands.''

British-Ghanaian media entrepreneur, Peace Hyde writes, ''The things you do for YOURSELF are gone when you are GONE, but the things you do for OTHERS remain as your LEGACY.”-#Kalu

Reacting to Bob Pixel's death in a post on Facebook, Ghanaian gospel artiste Joe Mettle wrote, ''@bobpixel I Can’t believe you are gone.

My story will never be complete without you. We will really miss you bro rest well.''

Popular Ghanaian blogger, Ameyaw Debrah mourns as she shares his condolence.

''May your good heart rest well Emmanuel. A great personality, always ready to help build people, never shy of sharing his knowledge and skills with others. I had not seen you in person in a long while but my last conversation with you, a few days ago, was a reflection of the person I had known you to be all these years. You had shared your experience with covid and advised everyone to mask up. As fate would have it, you're not here with us today and I can only give your family all my condolences knowing that you're resting well. #ripbobpixel.''
