Kelvin Asare: 14-year-old boy with hole in the heart condition undergoes successful surgery

- A 14-year-old boy suffering from a hole in the heart condition has undergone a successful surgery

Tweenager, Kelvin Asare, has successfully undergone a hole in the heart surgery at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital.

Through the benevolence of the Crime Check Foundation, the amount needed to pay for the surgery was raised for the treatment to bring back joy into the teenager's life.

Kelvin Asare, 14, required GHC52,456.00 to undergo treatment to restore his worsening ill health.

In a post on its Facebook page, Crime Check TV GH disclosed that ''by the grace of the Almighty God and your immense generosity, we have finally raised the GHC52,456 required for 14-year-old Kelvin Asare to undergo surgery to correct a heart defect at the Cardiothoracic centre.

Crime Check announced in a subsequent post that Kelvin Asare has successfully gone through surgery to correct the defect.

''By the grace of God and the help of our wonderful CCF donors, Kelvin Asare, the 14yr old boy we sought help for to enable him to undergo a hole in the heart surgery, has successfully been operated upon at the Korle-Bu Teaching hospital. We want to thank each and every one of you who contributed and prayed towards the success of the surgery. May the Almighty God richly bless you all.''

Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh earlier reported that popular Kumawood comic actor, Ebenezer Akwasi Antwi, famed as Ras Nene, has shared his grass to grace journey to stardom in the Kumawood Movie Industry.
