Reports reaching YEN.com.gh have it that one Jay Dordorye of Ho in the Volta region has reportedly taken the life of his 25-year-old lover, Harriet Kafui Ahiati.

According to the report sighted by YEN.com.gh on myjoyonline.com, Jay Dordorye after taking his girlfriend's life attempted to take his own life by hanging twice.

The 26-year-old also slit his throat and stabbed himself in the stomach twice but did not die.

Reports have it that the unfortunate incident occurred on Monday, March 22, 2021, at around 10 pm and the news has since spread like wildfire in the community.

According to eyewitness reports, Dordorye was heard calling out the name of his mother asking her to come and see what he had done.

His screams attracted a crowd who rushed to the scene only to find out that Jay had taken the life of his girlfriend claiming that she cheated on him.

Out of fear, he had also attempted taking his own life through hanging but was unsuccessful. He then proceeded to harm himself with a knife, but he did not die.

He is currently being treated at the Volta Regional Hospital after he was arrested by the Ho Municipal Police Command who were called in to look into the matter.

Meanwhile, multiple award-winning Ghanaian dancehall star, Shatta Wale, has reacted to Kwadwo Sheldon's criticism by disciplining him over the internet in a funny video.

In the video sighted by YEN.com.gh, Shatta Wale was seen knocking the bald head of the YouTube content creator for speaking against him and his kind of lyrics in his songs.
