Mental health advocate Abena Korkor Addo recently lost her job as a presenter with TV3.
Abena Korkor announced her withdrawal from the show in a video she shared on social media.
According to Korkor, her employers had called to inform her that they were taking her off the show which co-hosts with Anita Akuffo and one other.
She stated that the station cited a recent video of her going unclad and wearing only lingerie which she recently shared on social media as the reason for her withdrawal.
The nude video, Korkor said, had been deemed by the show's sponsors to be negative publicity which they do not want to be associated with their brands, hence, the decision to withdraw her from the show.
With this situation, one would have thought that Abena Korkor was going to tone down on releasing nudes.
But that has not been the case as she has released new photos showing off herself in lingerie.
In a video slideshow she shared on her Instagram, Korkor is seen rocking different types of lingerie.
Sharing the video, Korkor subtly reacted to her sacking from TV3 saying she does not want to fit into anybody's category.
"I don’t intend to fit in a category. A lady does not do this. You’re a role model don’t do this I am proud of who I am, living my authentic self. And I will attract my tribe that will let me live out my full potential." she said.
Later, she dropped another photo with a similar caption saying she was a strong woman.
"I am strong. I am her. I am loved," she captioned.
The termination of Abena Korkor's contract at TV3 comes just a few weeks after she got involved in a controversy with her colleague, Giovani Caleb.
Abena Korkor, popularly known for her bedroom video that went viral when she was a student of the University of Cape Coast, is known to be suffering from bipolar disorder.
