Multiple award-winning gospel singer and preacher, Sonnie Badu, has finally reacted to claims made by one Manuel Mensah that his degrees are not real.
In a number of Facebook posts, the founder and leader of Rock Hill Church rubbished the claims made by the social media user as he indicated that he was not going to speak on the matter.
Reacting to the first claim, Sonnie Badu took to social media and wrote: "It is dangerous to wage war against a WORSHIPPER ... you will shut your destiny and generations down ...."
In yet another subtle response to the issue, the Wonder God singer posted a photo of himself displaying one of his degrees and captioned it: "When they don’t understand the frequency of your grace and your hard work behind the scenes they bring their own PHD (pull him down) LIONS DONT RESPOND TO FROGS ... #DrBadu"
From all indications, Sonnie Badu was not ready to banter with anyone who had a hard time believing that he had earned all the degrees he was flaunting.
Many social media users however took to the comment section under the respective posts to in a way, troll the gospel music star.
YEN.com.gh earlier reported that a social media user by the name Manuel Mensah has made a claim that suggests that the academic and honorary degrees awarded to singer Sonnie Badu are not real.
In a series of posts sighted by YEN.com.gh, Mr Mensah quizzed why and how Sonnie Badu's school, Trinity International University of Ambassadors, would award him 3 degrees concurrently in the space of 4 months.
To satisfy his curiosity, Mr Manuel Mensah sent an email to the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) to enquire about the said school's existence.
In response to the email, one Eric believed to be a member and Information Administrator of the Council for Higher Education Accreditation said he was "unable to find any information to indicate that Trinity International University of Ambassadors is accredited."
