A delighted lady has celebrated after finally getting a divorce from her husband, noting she is very relieved.
Tracy Dimarco, from the US, shared selfies on Instagram showing her delight, alongside a lengthy message narrating reasons that led her to go the single mum route.
The mother of three never wished for her family to be separated, but about three years ago, things started to become different in her marriage.
Then two years ago, Tracy knew the kids needed a happy mother and not a married one, who kept crying constantly and stayed in a bad union just for the kids.
"I decided (after many many sad twists of events) that I would be better for them if I removed myself from this marriage and filed for divorce. One of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do because I felt like I failed them but seeing how much happier has empowered me to be the best version of myself for them," she said.
Tracy said she did not want her kids to see her hurting and promised to be the best single mother ever.
Her followers flooded her comment section with congratulatory messages, noting she was a beautiful woman who deserved the best.
Previously, YEN.com.gh shared the story of a tweep, @Ojornelu, who went on social media to celebrate getting a divorce.
Oyibo shared a dancing GIF on her page and captioned it:
"Signed the dotted lines today. Happily Divorced!"
The divorcee expressed gratitude to the high court for its role in dissolving the marriage with her one-time partner.
The wording of her caption, coupled with the fact that she saw the need to share the news in that manner, was an indication that she was in a toxic marriage and the divorce was her only hope for peace.
