Late last month, controversial church leader Shepherd and his wife Mary Bushiri lost their daughter, who was overcome by a long-term illness. The self-proclaimed prophet recently headed online to share a touching clip of the beautiful little one during one of her previous violin lessons.

"This sounds so heavenly," he captioned the post.

In another heartbreaking post, Bushiri also reflects on how he and his grieving family are relying on God to heal them from the pain they are experiencing since their 8-year-old Israella passed away.

"Thank you all for praying and standing with us during this healing time. We believe in God who heals the broken hearted. We will bounce back stronger than ever. We will preach like never before. We will minister healing than we’ve ever before. Jehovah Shammah - our God is here!" he wrote in the post.

Many of his followers showered him and his family with kind words:

It was previously reported that days ago, Israella Bushiri, the eight-year-old daughter of Malawian Prophet Shepherd Bushiri died from a lung infection. The body of the young girl has been brought back to Malawi for her burial with her dad penning an emotional poem on his social media pages.

"Whilst your mother and I are welcoming you back home from where you made your last breath, my heart I pour out to you," he wrote.

Attached to the emotional poem were photos taken at the airport showing the aircraft carrying her remains with family and church members gathered to receive her.
