Ghanaian actor, Prince David Osei claims he was told by God at age 17 that he will be the president of Ghana one day.

He made this disclosure in an interview on Citi TV's Upside Down show.

"When I was seventeen years," replied Osei when one of the hosts of the show asked him when exactly he got the message from God.

He however said he is unsure when exactly he will become president.

"The time I can't tell. You want them to kill me before that time. The time I can't tell," the actor said.

Osei was one of the public figures who actively campaigned for Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo during the 2020 elections.

Osei said because he has a personal relationship with God, he is able to hear directly from his maker.

He also added that he believes firmly in his goal to become the president of Ghana one day in spite of his unassuming nature leading to doubts about his dream.

"It's not that I want to. I will be. Let's put it that way. You see in life, everybody and what God gives to them. And sometimes you might look unqualified. You might look like you are not the one...That has always been the story of my life. People don't see me."

"Because I know who I put my trust in. I am one individual who believes in a personal relationship with God... I do one on one with God such that on a daily basis, I hear from God. I get directions from God and if something is going to happen to me or someone, I will at least get the hint before somebody confirms," said Osei.

Moving away from actors, Ghanaian artiste, KiDi has shared a teaser video of his upcoming album, The Golden Boy.

Set to be released in June 2021, the project is the second studio album of the 2021 3Music Awards 'Artist of the Year' winner.
