Another fatal accident has occurred on the Buipe-Tamale Highway, leading to the death of 11 people.
The gender statistics indicated that nine male adults, one female adult and a girl were among the 11 people that perished.
The unfortunate accident occurred after a Kumasi-bound Toyota mini bus collided head-on with a DAF tipper truck.

The accident occurred on Tuesday, April 13, 2021 around 7:00pm at Alipe near Yapei in the Central Gonja District of the Savannah Region.
According to a report filed by 3news, the driver of the Toyota mini bus veered off his lane into another and collided head-on with the DAF tipper truck.
The driver of the mini bus identified as Akonsi Sumaila died on the spot while five other passengers onboard that same bus sustained various degrees of injuries.
Accidents on this particular stretch has become quite incessant with the cases being recorded are either as a result of reckless driving, over speeding and wrongful overtaking.
In a related development, at least two people are feared dead after a commercial vehicle popularly referred to as Trotro crashed into the rear of a broken-down trailer.
The unfortunate incident occurred near the Tesano Police station in Accra at around 4:30 am today, Wednesday, April 14, 2020.
According to a report filed by CitiNews, the trailer loaded with bags of onion from Togo had broken down at the same spot a day before the accident.
A rapid response team from the police and the Ambulance service worked together to retrieve the trapped body of the driver.
One other body had been removed by police from the accident scene.
Still on road accidents, on Sunday, April, 12, 2021, five people were reported dead in a fatal accident at Obretema near Suhum in an earlier report filed by YEN.com.gh.
The accident occurred on the Accra-Kumasi Highway at Obretema near Suhum in the Eastern Region, claiming the lives of several people.
