The traditional ruler went on to say that he is yet to be furnished with the name of locality and house from which Poloo claims to come from.

He added that till that was done, it would not be in his place or that of anyone to point to Akwapim as the hometown of the Efiewura actress.

Nana Yirenkyi I, added that he was still waiting for Poloo to come to him so he formally introduces her to the heads of the area but she has not honoured that invitation.

The chief then cautioned the general public to stop tagging Akuapem Poloo as an Akwapim.

He added that peradventure, Akuapem Poloo claimed to be an indigene of the area just because of some love or affinity she had but it was certainly not by birth.

He went on to mention celebs who he said had proven they were from Akwapim and his list included the likes of Pope Skinny, Praye, Bisa Kdei, Koo Ntakra and KK Fosu.
