The father of Ghana’s popular mentally-challenged man, known for the Mo Na Mo Bl3 mantra, has revealed the cause of his son’s predicament.
Speaking in an interview with Kofi TV, the father disclosed that his son, who is currently 52 years, was abusing marijuana, also known as ‘wee’.
He said it all started in SHS 2 when the family noticed that he had started behaving strangely. The family was very disturbed because he was very smart and bright in school.

According to the father, Mo Na Mo Bl3 started by preaching salvation, when he went from street to street telling people to change from their bad ways.
“In all these, he never told the people how they could do this. He did not refer to the bible and so we knew all was not well with him,” the father explained.
At a point, he said the mentally-challenged man started to trade after leaving school finally.
He was buying and selling all kinds of household items including umbrellas, and torchlights, and others.
The father added that the son himself realised that it was the marijuana that was causing him his mental health, therefore, he decided to quit.
However, he would soon go into a relapse and go back to smoking again.
The father also revealed the intervention he took to salvage the son’s situation. According to him, he took the son to the Ankaful hospital for help.
He revealed that he answered all the questioned posed to him at the hospital so well that the doctors were convinced that it was not a serious case.
Therefore, he was only treated and discharged. However, when they hoped things would go back to normal for him, the situation rather became worse.
Kindly fast-forward to the 19th minute to watch the father speak:
Meanwhile, Mo na mo bl3 was in the news earlier when he demanded to be given a sum of 200 cedis before he would speak in an interview.
He also boldly counted the women he slept with in 'hit and run' affairs.
