The Executive Director of Child Rights International (CRI), Bright Appiah has opened up on his outfit's next line of actions following Akuapem Poloo's case.

While speaking in an interview with Kwame Nkrumah Tikese on Okay FM, Bright Appiah indicated that they were turning their sights on people using their kids for commercial purposes.

According to him, people who were using their children for adverts to amass wealth to themselves were going against the law.

He said his outfit was soon going to outline a number of these things that were considered illegal because they were going to attract sanctions.

Bright Appiah said it would be in the best interest of people who have opened such social media pages for their children to take them down as soon as possible.

He revealed that he was not perturbed by the backlash his outfit had generated and was receiving following the Akuapem Poloo case which they championed.

According to him, he has a covenant with kids and was not unfazed by what people were saying provided his outfit was doing the right thing.

Bright Appiah said those who refused to heed his free warning would have no option other than to answer for their actions in court.

Meanwhile, Andrew Kudzo Vortia, the lawyer for embattled actress Akuapem Poloo has said that her seven-year-old son, Chief, is currently living with him in one of his homes.

In a report sighted by YEN.com.gh on myjoyonline, Lawyer Andrew Kudzo Vortia revealed that he offered to take care of the boy while his mother serves her 90-day prison sentence.

He went on to explain that he believed he had better facilities to take care of the young boy while his mother did her time behind bars.
