Andrew Kudzo Vortia, the lawyer for embattled actress Akuapem Poloo has said that her seven-year-old son, Chief, is currently living with him in one of his homes.
In a report sighted by YEN.com.gh on myjoyonline, Lawyer Andrew Kudzo Vortia revealed that he offered to take care of the boy while his mother serves her 90-day prison sentence.
He went on to explain that he believed he had better facilities to take care of the young boy while his mother did her time behind bars.
“I took him to my outside residence, I have a house that hosts about five orphans and so they are playing around my compound,” he revealed.
When asked if the seven-year-old knew his mother had been jailed, Lawyer Andrew Kudzo Vortia said Chief was not aware.
He added that he has been trying his best to shield Chief from finding out what actually is going on and has rather told him that his mother is working on a movie project.
Lawyer Vortia disclosed that they have explained to the young boy that his mother is shooting a movie and that she will return after she is done.
“I have told him mummy is going to do some acting work. I have created an impression that what is happening is part of the role that she is playing. So the son thinks the mother is acting,” he added.
