YEN.com.gh has dug deep to unearth a rare Ghanaian talent in the person of Ateaa Tina who has worked with living legend Daddy Lumba on 5 albums.

While speaking in an exclusive interview with YEN.com.gh on Star Gist, Ateaa Tina opened up about her life and how she got to work with one of Ghana's highlife legends.

Growing up from a humble background in Dansoman, Tina was living the normal life of any young girl but discovered that she had the latent for singing.

According to her, she honed her singing talent from church and being a part of the church choir until she met a man named Kwaku Mensah who decided to manage her and train her to become a vocalist.

She said Kwaku Mensah who was a sound engineer at the time managed to get her a number of gigs until one day he told her that Daddy Lumba wanted to work with her.

Ateea Tina said when she heard the news, she did not believe it because Daddy Lumba was one of the best artistes in the country at the time.

She continued that at the time, she was in Holland and Daddy Lumba was in Germany, so they had to make a 6-hour drive to meet the singer.

Tina revealed that when they met, they immediately started working on Lumba's projects and her life started changing from then.

She said she was schooling and playing the role of a backing vocalist for Daddy Lumba so they mostly recorded when school was on break.

Tina said they literally slept in the studio during recording time and parted ways only after the whole album had been recorded.

The pretty lady whose vocals have been heard in songs like Bubra, Adaka Tea, Medo No, Pony, and Dada Kae, said working with the musician gave her a lot of mileage and also came with a lot of money.

She however said that she has been living abroad all this while but has come back to Ghana to start her own music career.

Ateaa Tina revealed that she has already recorded a single a-which features Ghana's 'rap doctor', Okyeame Kwame.

Meanwhile, Ghanaian hip-hop recording artiste, Kweku Addai, known by the stage name Criss Waddle, has for the first time shared photos of his plush real estate project on social media.

The rapper who doubles as an entrepreneur, took to Facebook to share photos of the completed apartments.

According to the AMG Business Chief Executive Officer, the said apartments are located in Tema, particularly Community 25.
