There's a difference between repentance and renewal of mind - Diana Asamoah to Agradaa

Multiple award-winning Ghanaian gospel songstress, Evangelist Diana Asamoah has admonished repented fetish priestess, Nana Agradaa over her decision to become a Christian.

While speaking during a live radio broadcast on Accra-based Rainbow FM, Evangelist Diana Asamoah thanked God for the life of Agradaa and said she was happy that the traditional priestess had finally seen the light.

She said Agradaa’s repentance and subsequent submission to do the work of God in this month of April was very significant to her.

According to Evangelist Diana Asamoah, she also entered the Lord’s vineyard in April many years ago and she has since not looked back.

The Onyame Tumfo hitmaker said it was not easy being a new convert so she admonished the former fetish priestess to stand firm and not consider going back into the world.

Evangelist Diana Asamoah however said she hoped Agradaa’s conversion was not a result of low patronage from her clients owing to the fact that they did not want to associate themselves with idol worshippers.

The Evangelist went on to admonish Agradaa that praying in tongues was not the same as renewing one’s mind so it would be best if her conversion was genuine and not a way to deceive people.

She added that there was a difference between miracles and repentance since one can perform all these things and yet not have a renewed mindset.

Evangelist Diana Asamoah said what she was saying was not a personal attack on anyone but was doing her part to caution people to be wary of those who pretend to be what they were not.

She went on to welcome Nana Agradaa who is now to be called Evangelist Patricia Oduro-Koranteng into the kingdom of God.
