Ghanaian actor Ebenezer Akwasi Antwi known widely as Dr Likee or Ras Nene, has sent love and warm wishes to all mothers on Mother's Day today, May 9, 2021.
The Kumawood actor who used to be known for his role as a villain but now transitioned into a comedian was seen standing in front of a house while delivering his message.
After wishing all mothers and women well, he said if you have no gift for your mum, just go before her and kneel in front of her for her to bless you.
The now-popular actor said anyone who contending with a woman was contending with him because women and mothers were very special.
He went on to ask children to pamper their mothers and the mother figures in their life because, without women, the world would not have existed.
As today, May 9, 2021, marks Mothers' Day all over the world, many people would come out to celebrate their mothers and mother figures in their lives.
Ras Nene happens to be one of the very first celebrities in the country to send a message out to mothers and women in general.
Speaking about Ras Nene, YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Ghanaian Kumasi-based comedy group comprising Ras Nene, Kyekyeku, Ama Tundra, Shifo, and 39-40 have been granted audience at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.
The team was invited to the Asantehene's palace in line with the Asante monarch's 71st birthday celebration which took place on May 6, 2021.
A durbar was held on the palace grounds and subjects of the Asante Kingdom were seen paying homage to the Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
