A Ghanaian entrepreneur, designer, and innovator, Kweku Sylvester Kwaw, has claimed that he is the first person to design and build a fufu grinding machine in Ghana.

Kwaw, who is the owner of Sly Metals Works and Solutions, told SVTV's DJ Nyaami that he is the originator of the idea, claiming he is the first to build the fufu grinding machine that other innovators have subsequently reproduced.

Asked what he used in building the machine, he said: ''I use stainless steel, pipe, stainless steel plate, angle bar, stainless steel bucket, engine, and thirteen (13) bolts and nuts to fastened the engine.''

Kwaw indicated that he began building machines fifteen (15) years ago, disclosing that he creates machines for other purposes aside from fufu.

''I produce fufu machines, bread mixer, cassava grater, cassava peeler, and others. I design and build them myself. The other ones on the market are different, mine works more efficiently,'' he explained.

According to him, he produces the machines on a large scale for wholesalers and retailers as well.

His company, Sly Metals Works and Solutions is located at Amaganya in the Eastern Region, Ghana.
