Ghanaian stylist, Nana Kwasi Wiafe has shared what it's like to work with high-profile personalities including Beyonce, Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, and Michaela Coel.
He was one of the main stylists who worked on the official video for Already, the song by Beyonce which featured Wale.
In an exclusive interview with YEN.com.gh, Wiafe disclosed that the opportunity to work with all these big-name individuals and brands is a learning curve for him.
"Honestly, it’s been a sweet and sour experience for me sharing spaces with these amazing artistes but for the most part, it has been a great learning experience," said Wiafe.
"There have been situations I felt could have been handled well with some of the things that happened, but it serves as a lesson for me now."
Wiafe is also a model, the founder of a lifestyle brand, VERY GHANAIAN, and Creative Director for THOUARTKWASI.
His other clientele list includes Apple, Vlisco, Amaarae and Ozwald Boateng. Wiafe and his work have been featured on Vogue, BBC, BET, and GQ.
In other news, Ghanaian fashion designer, Mimi Plange, has collaborated with American basketball player, Lebron James, and Nike, the American apparel company on a new project.
Dubbed Lebron XVIII Low x Mimi Plange “Higher Learning,” it involves the designing of sneakers, and seeks to throw the spotlight on people helping their communities.
"We are beyond excited and thankful to have had this opportunity to continue to share inspirational stories with the world. Dreams can never be too big," reads a statement by Plange posted online.
"Thank you so much to the entire teams at Nike and Team Lebron who made this happen. It was such an amazing experience with great, great people."
Plange's designs have been worn by the likes of Michelle Obama, the former First Lady of the United States of America, Serena Williams, Paris Hilton, Yvonne Orji, Janelle Monae, and Rihanna.
