Ghana versus Nigeria: The most beautiful actresses
Ghana's dominance over Nigeria is firmly established in football. They are no match for us.
Recently, we beat them hands down in the Jollof wars. Now, Ghana Jollof is considered the gold standard in terms of quality and taste.
It is now time for the next 'battle': To determine which of the two countries has the most beautiful actresses.
1. Nigeria has Genevieve Nnaji
She started her acting career at the age of eight. She won the African Movie Academy Award in 2005 for Best Actress in a Leading Role. It is interesting that she has appeared in over 50 films including Stand By Me and Death Warrant.
2. Ghana has Jackie Appiah
She has received several awards and nominations, including the awards for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the 2010 Africa Movie Academy Awards; and Best Actress in a Supporting Role at the Africa Movie Academy Awards in 2007.
3. Nigeria has Omotola
Since her Nollywood film debut in 1995, the leading actress has appeared in 300 films, selling millions of video copies.
4. Ghana has Yvonne Okoro
She has received Ghana Movie Awards Best Actress Award in 2010 and was nominated for African Movie Academy Awards Best Actress twice in a row in 2011 and 2012 for her movies Pool Party and Single Six.

5. Nigeria has Stephanie Okereke Linus
She has received several awards and nominations for her work as an actress, including the 2003 Reel Award for Best Actress, the 2006 Afro Hollywood Award for Best Actress, and three nominations for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the Africa Movie Academy Awards in 2005, 2009 and 2010.
6. Ghana has Martha Ankomah
She has acted in several movies since she appeared in Heart of Men in 2009.
7. Nigeria has Stella Damasus
She was nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role at the Africa Movie Academy Awards in 2009.

She found mainstream success following her rousing performance in the Twi-language movie Asoreba

In 2012 she won the Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role.
