People in Ghana have the most unusual way of finding out who could be a thief! Radio and TV presenter Nana Kwaku Agyemang presented a video on his Facebook page, showing how people traditionally identify a robber.
The video captures a man standing behind other people, who sit on a stool facing the other way.

The thief-catcher starts whipping a pair of hay brooms to the side of the potential culprit. He says a couple of phrases to which the other man responds. He then repeats the same rite with other suspects.

It turns out Ghanaians apparently still use this traditional way of identifying and catching thieves.
