Mention any female journalist whose contributions to journalism in Ghana is breathtaking and the name Dzifa Bampoe definitely pops up!

But after 12 solid years of intense, professional delivery in news reporting, Dzifa Bampoe has now bowed out of the Multimedia Group of Companies.
It remains unknown why Dzifa Bampoe is leaving Joy FM especially when she remains one of the fine voices and brains of the radio station but YEN is gathering that she may have landed a mouth-watering deal as the head of communications for Tullow Oil Ghana.
"I have grown as a person [and] they have made me a better person," she said of the people whose contributions have enriched her.

The exit of Dzifa Bampoe from Joy FM comes at a time when the largest media station in Ghana – Joy FM – has had to compete with emerging brands like GHone TV which recently poached one of the station’s finest, Francis Abban as a senior political editor and host of the morning show on Starr FM.
