- Prempeh wins #NSMQ17
- This is the 4th time the Kumasi boys are winning the contest
Prempeh College beat St Thomas Aquinas and Adisadel College to win the National Science & Maths Quiz for the fourth time.
Prempeh got a narrow win over Aquinas by only two points. In the end, the Kumasi-based school got 53 points and the Accra-based school got 51 points. The third school, from the Central Region, Adisadel got 31 points.

The three schools are former winners of the competition with Adisadel College being the defending champions.
Before the grand finale
A journey that began a month ago comes to a thrilling end today at the National Theatre in Accra.
In all 108 schools started the 2017 edition of the National Science and Maths Quiz but only three made it to the final.
The schools are St. Thomas Aquinas (GT. Accra Region), Primped College (Ashanti Region) and Adisadel College (Central Region).

The schools in the final have all won the NSMQ before - Prempeh has won it three times, Adisco and Aquinas have both won one each.
