KNUST features Kofi Kinaata’s ‘Confession’ in an English Course

Respected Ghanaian hiplife musician, Kofi Kinaata’s music career has earned a major boost as University students study the lyrics of his recently released ‘Confession’ song.

The musician has been overwhelmed as level 200 literature students of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), study literary devices of his popular song.

The lyrics of the instant hit song found its way into the semester exams of the students in a form of poem.

The song which was originally done in Fante dialect was translated into English for the students to analyze its literary appreciation for the first time in recent years.

Kofi Kinaata who was elated after chancing upon some of the exam questions shared a portion on his Facebook page to laud the KNUST lecturer.

“Level 200 KNUST students are studying the literary devices in #Confession this semester (Poems For ENG-LIT 263). Bigups to the lecturer”, he wrote on his Facebook wall.

Kofi King Arthur aka Kinaata released ‘Confession’ music and its video in December 2016 and it became huge hit enjoying massive airplay across nation.
