Popular Ghanaian content creator, Osanju Frimpong Elvis, has reportedly died, five months after burying his mother, who died in January this year.

Osanju’s death was reported by gossips24tv, who shared a post on Instagram on Monday, September 1, 2025.
“Ghanaian content creator and influencer, Osanju, is dead. He unfortunately passed on last night after watching a football match of his favourite team, Barcelona,” the post read.

What happened to Osanju?
According to reports from Gossips24tv, Osanju Frimpong passed away after he went to bed on the night of August 31.
Videos from his social media pages showed that he watched the Spanish La Liga game between Barcelona and Rayo Vallecano and was displeased with his team's 1-1 draw.
He shared a video complaining about the team's performance, looking fit and hearty.
The news of his death, so soon after his last post, left social media users in disbelief.

The death of the humorous Ghanaian TikToker occurred seven months after losing his mother.
Osanju's mother, Veronica Frimpong, popularly known as Amonu, tragically passed away in January after a short illness.

Osanju's reported cause of death has not been confirmed, but he suffered from a blood condition believed to be leukaemia.

In a viral video, Osanju shared details of the health condition he was facing that had made his life unbearable.
"My blood is clotting, and I'm yet to figure out what is causing this. I'm running some tests, the quality clotting profile test. I hope everything turns out great." he said in a video shared to TikTok.
He said the health battle became so expensive that he had to sell his assets to raise money, but later got some from people online.
"It got to a point where the treatment had become expensive, and I had to sell my personal belongings to pay for my medical bills. Through TikTok, I met some kind people who donated money to help me buy my medicines", he said.
