On August 6, 2025, one of Ghana’s worst-ever air tragedies occurred when a helicopter carrying eight people crashed into the Sikaman Forest in the Adansi Afuokrom District of the Ashanti Region.

Prophet Uche prophesies more doom for September
Speaking in an interview with the YouTube channel Vimbuzz on Tuesday, September 2, Prophet Uche said he had foreseen more tragedies in the upcoming month.
He said Ghanaians should take him seriously because he accurately foretold most of the tragedies that occurred over the past few months, including the Obuasi helicopter crash.
"I just want people to know that there is nothing that prophets don't see, and there is nothing I say that do not come to pass. On the 3rd of August, I prophesied about a plane crash. Three days later and the helicopter crashed." he stated.
The preacher also said he foresaw other international tragedies, which all showed he truly gets visions from God.
"I also foresaw a train derailment and the death of a popular Nigerian actor. Anyone can go back to our Facebook page and watch all I said,” he added.

Prophet Boahen Uche also warned that he had seen worse events in September and that Ghanaians needed to pray very intently to avert them.
"In September, we also need to pray. I saw another plane crash this month, not in Ghana. I've seen one in Ghana that we're praying about. But a plane would drop to earth during this month. A major footballer is also going to die. I don't know if he's from Ghana or abroad, but a footballer would die and all the major media outlets would cover it. We should also pray for the Indian Prime Minister,” he said.

In an interview with YEN.com.gh, journalist Stella Annan said a prophet's duty is to share what they see, but they can also make things easier by adding directions on how to avert them.
"Spirituality in our part of the world is something we don’t joke with, and him being a man of God, as it has been shown to him, he has a duty to put it out there. As a Christian, there are so many instances in the holy bible where God shares visions with prophets to warn us of things to come," she said.
"So personally, I believe that as he has shared his vision, he should also be able to tell us how we can be safe from such dangers, as most people panic at such prophecies," she added.
