Controversial televangelist, Patricia Asiedua Asiamah, popularly known as Nana Agradaa, was jailed for fifteen years for fraud by an Accra Circuit Court on Thursday, July 3, 2025.

The sentence stemmed from a 2022 advertisement by Nana Agradaa, in which she promised to double any money received at her church, the Heaven Way Champions International Ministry.

Agradaa allegedly received the money that hopeful congregants brought to her and then failed to double it as promised.

Popular businesswoman and social media personality, Diamond Appiah, has addressed social media rumours about Nana Agradaa’s health and other questions about her prison time.

Since being jailed, several social creators have claimed in videos that Nana Agradaa is facing numerous health challenges.

In a social media post seen by YEN.com.gh, Diamond Appiah said all the claims about the preacher's health were false.

She also confirmed reports that Nana Agradaa’s ministry has continued despite being in jail.

"All those saying Agradaa is sick and her feet are swollen are blatant lies; she's doing fine at Nsawam. Info also says Agradaa has become very calm, mostly on her own and sometimes leads morning worship at the female prison," she claimed.
