GMB contestant Etornam talks about Ewe kete

In her presentation, Etornam delved into the intricate Ewe totems that are integral to the design and creation of the Ewe kete.

These totems symbolise the unity and identity of the Ewe people in Ghana, serving as a visual representation of their cultural values.

Drawing from various clan totems found in the Anlo state, she expertly weaved the Ewe kete using a traditional loom, demonstrating her skill and cultural knowledge.

Etornam specifically noted that clan totems from communities such as Agbozume, Klikor, Anloga, Keta, and Anlo-Afiadenyigba, as well as adjacent areas in the Ketu South Municipality and Anlo-Keta Municipality, can be intricately woven into the fabric of the Ewe kete.

This fusion not only represents the diverse heritage of these clans but also fosters a sense of collective identity among the Ewe people.

Etornam wins the star performer award

Owubah and Naawere evicted from 2025 GMB

Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported on the eviction of two contestants, Owubah and Naawere, from the 2025 Ghana's Most Beautiful competition.

The representatives from the Western Region and Upper West Region have garnered significant support from fans following their exit from the pageant.
