He was also an active member of the campaign team for the party during the elections, which saw former President Nana Akufo-Addo claiming a then-historic victory.
Despite the NDC's defeat in the elections, Dee Aja's campaign song still made the airwaves and became a certified party anthem. The catchy lyrics and rhythm of the song, written by gospel musician Nacee, made it one of the most iconic campaign songs in Ghanaian political history.
Aside from the campaign songs, the musician also released his own music. He further released subsequent NDC campaign songs and campaigned for the party during the 2020 and 2024 elections.
