Rise in doom prophecies about Ghana

Prophet Kofi Asiedu’s doom prophecy arrives at a time Ghana has seen an increase in such predictions from pastors.

In August, Prophet Roja rose to prominence after he prophesied impending doom for Defence Minister, Dr Edward Kofi Omane Boamah, days before his tragic death in a helicopter crash.

His fame, gained after his accurate prophecy, led other men of God to also come forward with similar predictions of doom.

The rise in doom prophecies has sparked mixed reactions on social media, with many Ghanaians declaring spirituality is paramount, while others slam some of the prophets as clout chasers.
