Apology And Retraction: YEN.com.gh Apologizes To Ernest Chemist CEO Over Erroneous Publication

YEN.com.gh apologizes for an erroneous post made about Ernest Chemist CEO Ernest Bediako Sampong.

A post written by one of our editors on Wednesday, October 26, 2022, had indicated that the businessman owned a Mercedes Benz AMG GT and had been spotted driving it on a compound said to be his house.

But it has turned out the information we put out was inaccurate and that the man in the said video was not the Ernest Chemist boss.

Due to the new information, we have pulled down the said publication and state that it was not borne out of malice but just a bid to celebrate his achievements. It was a genuine error, and we unreservedly apologise to Mr Sampong for any inconvenience our publication might have caused him.

We also apologise to our readers who might have read our article and believed it to be Mr Sampong. We promise to be more diligent in verifying such information going forward.
