Kenyan Man Becomes Instant Millionaire In 2024 After Winning SportPesa Jackpot Bonus
- A lucky Kenyan man started the year as a millionaire after correctly predicting scores on SportPesa
- Keneth Rotich narrowly missed getting all the 17 matches correct, which would have seen him win KSh 344 million
- Only three Kenyans, Samuel Abisai, Cosmas Korir and Gordon Ogada have won the mega jackpot
The year has started on a high note for a Kenyan man who correctly predicted most of the matches in the SportPesa mega jackpot.
Who is latest SportPesa jackpot winner?
The prize currently stands at a cool KSh 344 million, and Keneth Rotich came close to walking away with it. If all his predictions were correct, he would have joined Samuel Abisai, Cosmas Korir, and Gordon Ogada in the elite club.
However, Rotich correctly predicted 14 out of the 17 matches and walked away with KSh 1.5 million.
"SportPesa millionaires club, index 1 2024. What stops you from correctly predicting the 17 matches and walking away with the money?" the company wrote on Wednesday January 3.
An image shared online depicted a SportPesa representative handing over a dummy check to Rotich.
Numerous Kenyans observed that many of the previous winners were also Kalenjins like Rotich. Here are some of the reactions:
Kipkemoi Captain Viquetar
“Congratulations. Invest well.”
Kijana Ya Mejja:
“Kalenjins know how to bet.”
Kélviñ Kíñyañjùí:
“How come Kalenjins are good at predicting the scores?”
Derrick Ngeno Ngeno Ngeno:
“We have discovered your secret unlike before. I will win the mega jackpot this year.”
Macharia Njathi:
“Why is it that most of the winners are Kalenjins?”
Emmanuel Cheruiyot:
“Congratulations my neighbour. We really try.”
